Job description

Position: Instructional Designer Location: Remote... Duration: 6+ Months Pay Rate: $60 to $70/hr Description of Position • Uses Business Strategy, Learning Strategy and data driven insights to design learning solutions and learner journeys in collaboration with the Learning Experience Architect and the Client facing Learning professional to ensure achievement of business goals. • Designs and plans learner-centric multi-part learning journey and experience based on the blueprint and requested design experience to solve business challenges and achieve the business outcomes as defined by and in collaboration with the Learning Experience Architect, client facing learning professional and SMEs • Designs learning solutions and a framework, principles and guidance for developers to follow and adapt based on deep understanding of business unit and sub unit internal trends, learners, organizational culture, personas, mindset and skills, and internal limits including: change tolerance, leader availability, learner attention/absorption, incentives, information, tools/resources. • Facilitates and leads design sessions, to and works to assess learner/persona skill gaps, clearly defines instructional objectives and crafts effective scalable learner solutions. • Coaches developers as they iterate and develop learning solutions and assets Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional systems, learning technologies or other related discipline • 8+ years of related experience (4+ with master’s degree) • 4+ years of experience as a Designer with experience leading the design and development of learning solutions to drive mindset, skill and behavior change to achieve business outcomes • Up to date instructional design and learning science applied to live, virtual, on line, social, adaptive and in the flow continuous learning experiences • Leverage innovative digital learning technologies and scalable user interfaces for web and mobile learning experiences • Apply Ux design and design thinking principles to assess learner/persona capability gaps the develop learning systems or blueprints • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences Skills: Instructional Designer, LMS, UX Design, Intelliswift Software is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law
